Dr Adam Mattsson
Principal Dentist
Before becoming a dentist, Dr Adam Mattsson had dreams of becoming a musician. “My older sister was a paediatric dentist, and I loved what she was doing. I had applied to the Conservatory of Music, and I didn’t do too well in my audition, so dentistry it was!” This unexpected career path led to a lifelong passion for helping people achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
Since earning his Bachelor of Dentistry in 1998, Dr Adam has continuously refined his skills and expanded his expertise. After joining the Australian Dental Council (ADC) in 2008, he pursued advanced training in implantology, prosthodontics, and complex dental procedures.
Dr Adam’s commitment to staying at the forefront of dentistry has led him to train with some of the most respected experts in the field, including:
With over 3,000 root canal treatments performed, Dr Adam particularly enjoys these procedures, finding fulfilment in solving challenging cases that others may avoid.
Outside the practice, Dr Adam enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring new travel destinations. His welcoming nature and commitment to gentle, patient-centred care make every visit comfortable—even for those who experience dental anxiety.
“I have a real fear of the dentist, but Dr Adam puts me at ease with each visit. He is very gentle and explains everything so clearly. The clinic is very well set up with modern facilities. All the staff are warm and welcoming.”
