Caring for LGBT Melbourne community.

rinbow brushHaving a dentist you can trust is one of the things many find so important. And so much so, even when they move to the other side of the city, to the country, or interstate, people stay loyal to their dentist.

Since 2009, Dr Adam Mattsson and his team have been proud supporters of our LGBT community – caring for the gay, lesbian, trans and queer community of Melbourne.

Since he started his own clinic, he has appeared at Midsumma Carnival, and Chillout in Daylesford, as well as Pride March in St Kilda – spreading the word about the non judgemental, and community supportive nature of his dental practice.    With over 6 years as major sponsor of Melbourne Chargers LGBT Rugby Team, and support over many years for JOY 94.9FM, through to the ongoing contributions to help the Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus bring their unique sounds to the community, we have always extended our helping hands to help give back to our community.

When the Melbourne Smashers needed a new computer system to help schedule the growing number of players and courts they were booking for the LGBT Badminton Teams, Dr Adam Mattsson put his hand up to help. From donations for fundraising for the Thorne Harbor Health Northside Bizarre, to helping with prizes for The Argonauts and many other queer sport and community groups fundraising trivia nights, no request was too small.

In 2019 when JOY 94.9FM was struggling with fundraising and memberships, Dr Adam Mattsson helped out by giving a $200 dental voucher to every new member that joined in the 3 week membership drive.

There are a few of his stunning smiles getting around on the stages of our clubs and theater venues as well.   A certain Ms Dolly Diamond has been known t grace his dental chair on occasion.  And even lent her vocal talents to the “on-hold music” at his clinic – as well as hosting a number of Xmas parties for Dr Adam Mattsson and his team.   Dolly mentioned “Dr Adam has been one of my biggest supporters since he started serving the gay community of Melbourne.  Now that Dr Adam is at his new clinic in the eastern suburbs, its closer to home for Dolly – just a quick Uber ride.   As well as helping Dolly entertain the community, he is always there to support our community with Joy, MGLC and Melbourne Chargers.” she said.    “Dr Adam is an amazing dentist, and I cant wait to see him again for my next sparkling clean.” added Dolly.

We look forward to continuing to serve the LGBTIQA+ community at our new home in Forest Hill.    We know it can be a bit of trek for some of you – but you know who we are, what we stand for, and how you will be treated.  Each and every time.
